My pants are falling off!

Okay, not quite really....but it's a small NSV victory for me....

My pair of workout pants that doesn't have a drawstring (the rest of them do) keep falling off me when I do any sort of exercise that involves jumping up and down or bending.

I guess they'll be relegated to pyjama pants now, and I'll have to only use the workout pants that actually have drawstrings. :)

My dress pants for work are saggy in the butt and my workout pants kept falling down yesterday, they have a drawstring but I think I might have to add elastic too.

    Congratulations on the wardrobe malfunctions!

Congratulations!! Great feeling isn't it. I went from a 44 pants down to now a 36 pants. I expect I will get to 34's. But each move was a great feeling. Job well done.

People who've never had weight issues will never experience the joys of unintentionally losing your pants. Suckers. :drinker:

    Congratulations!

See, that's the weird part -- not one of my pairs of dress pants for work fit me any differently in the waistline area than before I started working out and lost 13 pounds. Odd, right? (And before anyone suggests it - I am not wearing them higher or lower than I used to - lol.)

Mine are falling off as well, I look ridiculous, but the smaller size trousers are still a little too tight for comfort. I hate this in-between stage!

That's awesome! I have the same problem! The other day when I was running, my pants kept falling down. I literally had to hold them up! It was a pain in the butt but it's a good sign! :)

I have a few pair of jeans, where I have to do the belt so tight now, that you can see them bunching up around the waste in spots. Feels good doesn't it?

Of course, I am waiting to buy anything new as LONG as I possibly can, but that day where I go to buy new clothes will be special.

That's great! Sometimes when I feel like I'm not doing so great I grab my old favorite jeans which have now been dubbed my sweat pant jeans, as I don't have to unbutton or unzip them to put them on or take them off. I also got rid of a pair of dress pants that are now too baggy to look professional. I'm also in a wedding in May and I am wating as long as possible to get my already 2 sizes too big, because I was measured for it 3 months ago, bridesmaid dress altered. Take the little NSV's. They are what keep you going!

Well sometime the problem is we weren't aware or didn't what to realize how tight our old clothes actually were. I have apair of jeas that I wore that I still are tight and I think are getting any looser but my husband said "babe you were busting at the seems and now you not".....he really is a good guy..lol.
  • Congratulations

I was 38 inch waste (tight). I am now wearing my size 36 jeans (loose).

I am down to the last notch hole on most of my size 38 inch belt. I either get out the drill soon or go shopping for new belts.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! I know that feeling! But, for me it was kinda bittersweet... I just BOUGHT new workout pants in a Large...they are too large.... they fall while walking around, much less working out..... Great that I can fit into a Medium, but really???? :noway:

I hope that's the case with me! But I really don't feel like I should still be (or ever have been) wearing a Size 16. :(

    Men! LOL
  • That's awesome! Here is a tip if you still want to use them- pull one side of the waist band really tight and then wrap a pony tail holder around the excess material. Then you just fold the the pony tailed part over and tuck it back into the waist band. Hope I explained that right, it's actually really simple to do.
