I've been keeping a weightloss blog daily for almost 6 months - I started this journey at 14st 4lb and I'm now 12st 1lb - it's not a get slim quick story - but it's definitely a get slim and stay slim story! I have tried so many times before but this time I'm taking it easy and doing it in a way I can sustain - so that I'm not hungry and whilst it may take me abother 6 months to get to my goal of 10st 10lb/11st - it doesn't matter, because it isn't a race and I know weekly that I'm getting nearer!
If you're interested you can see my blog at http://dizidaisy.wordpress.com/ ) good luck on your journey! xxx0 -
Hi,
I recently tried the Bob Harper Inside Out Method DVDs. They leave me in a pool of sweat like no other workout (including all the Jillian Michaels DVDs). Having a hard time to stop evening snacking, I was too, but I've tried something a bit unconventional - weight loss hypnosis. It's helped me to end night time snacking completely and has helped me to get the scale moving again! Best wishes on your weight loss journey and if you're looking for another "cheerleader" to cheer you along, add me as a friend.0 -

I too need support and encouragement! I have been struggling with weight loss issues on and off for years now!
I went the route of Weight-Loss Hypnosis and it worked wonders for me one year. I was able to get 60 pounds shed because of it. But then, major stress hit my life with my parents and last sibling passing away all within 3 years time and I put it all back on and more!
@vroyyoung How are you implementing the Hypnosis? Is it through an actual practitioner or are you using a tape series?
@Missdana I would love to friend you and see what we can do to encourage and support each other.0 -
The most motivating thing for me is looking at the success story posts. The NSVs and the pictures especially. I look at the difference in people and you can almost always see the difference in the way they feel about themselves too. In before picture a lot of people look unhappy and mostly don't want their pictures taken. In the after pictures people are smiling and posing. I LOVE that thread and hope to on day be able to add to it.0
