How many inches have I lost?

When someone says I've lost yadda yadda inches, are they totaling the amount of inches they've lost from all over? Or are they averaging?

    I total all inches lost 2 off hips + 1 off waist = 3 inches lost :)

    WOW!!!! thats AMAZING!!! Great job! I measured myself today and have lost 4 in in two weeks. I was wondering the same thing so thanks for posting! Keep up the great work!!!

    Heh, I was wondering the same thing!!

    I didn't measure arms and thighs when I first started but since I have I've lost a total of 8.5" in 8 days. lol Water weight I'm guessing.
