I have lost about 20 lb (10 since I joined) and havent gone down a size other from 16w to 16. I do see a difference in my butt, legs, and bust when I put my cloths on. Measure yourself and see maybe you are gaining muscle. Congrads on your weightloss
  • Ok thanks im going to try that. when she talks about like im a size 8 but I cant wear a size 6 I just feel soo depressed because she hasnt lost much more than me.

omg!!! i have lost 19 too and still wearing the same clothes and they fit fine!! i dont get it at all!

Maybe when i reach the 25 pounder mark i will see soemthing and need a new closet :o)

I am having the same problem :( I haven't dropped any sizes either and I've lost 25 pounds! Doesn't seem to be fair.
  • It all depends on the size you begin with. A person that weighs 250 and loses 20 pounds is not really going to see much of a size difference where as a person that weighs 150 and loses 20 will see a difference in size. We are all different and should not be comparing how we are doing with anyone else.

You are doing fabulous and will see difference in sizes when your body is ready!

My *kitten* is actually bigger, but it has lifted and is a lot firmer. Exercise doesn't always make our bodies look the way we want it to, but we are being healthier than before and that is what we need to focus on.

here is a kicker.....bought fashion bug size 18 before I started p90x 10 weeks ago. I figured that I should wear jeans to a bachelorette party instead of the stupid sweat pants I wear EVERY day. So in that 10 weeks I have lost 10 pounds (yea a little pissed about that) but I have lost 23 inches. Those STUPID pants still fit, not even getting loose. I am so freaking mad!
  • I would be soo mad right now but congrats on doing p90x it actually scares me on the info commercial. I dont see me even staying with it throughtout the whole workout.

how do you generally like your clothes to fit?

i myself like my clothes on the loose side, many would probably say too big. so when i lost (i'm down 25ish from christmas) i noticed it most in my clothes that were the most loose. pants that i absolutely cannot wear now because they fall right off. shirts i am still wearing, some are just much more roomy. there are however, one pair of pants that i wore then that i still wear now! its because they were very tight before but fit just perfect now.

    perhaps that is the reason?

i agree with the other post as well, that depends what you start out as.

Its hard, very hard. I got a heart rate monitor and it helps because if I am slacking I see that I am not burning my normal calories it pushes me.

What sorts of excersices are you all doing? Are you just counting calories? Cardio? Strength? I lost fat when I was counting calories and doing cardio but as soon as I started doing strength the inches melted off! It'll happen, give it time. Starting weight makes a difference too. My biggest changes have only been coming as of recently (last 4 months or so) from my last 20lbs the majority of the inches come off at the end, did for me anyway, and the tummy is always the last to go  Good luck!
