Pear Dessert ~ Delish!

My co-worker just lost 35 lbs by just eating correctly and cutting back on calories. I asked her what she did for dessert (my favorite meal of the day!) and she told me about her Pear Dessert. I just tried it and it is delicious!
Take a few ripe pears and cut them in half. Cut out the core and place in a baking pan.
You can either add some honey or maple syrup to the pears, or leave them plain (my co-worker likes them plain because the sugar from the pear is sweet enough for her). I personally like adding honey bought from my local farmer's market.
Then sprinkle cinnamon over them.
Place them in the oven with the broiler on and broil them for approx 7 minutes.
Take out and serve.
Very good, sweet and I noticed it satsified my sweet tooth.
Enjoy!

You can do the same with apples too. Yummy! Thanks for the recipe.

You are all welcome! What's so great about this dish is you can eat an extra pear and not feel too guilty because its a pear and not a piece of chocolate or ice cream which are loaded with fat. I love the idea of using Apples too, I'll definitely try that too!0

I did this tonight with apples but added some Kashi Summer Berry Granola and some Blue Bonnet Light. Yum. It was amazing. Even had my kids clamoring for more.0
