I :wink: I am new to the site, trying not to get to frustrated. I just turned 41 and I have 3 children, the youngest 13. I am really hoping to loose some weight and get into better shape. My biggest enemies are that I work 12 hour shifts and the family wants to eat dinner when I get home at 8 pm and that I have hypothyroidism. Wish me luck!!:happy:

    Welcome. I know how you feel about working 12 hours. One thing I do is eat 6 meals a day (all small or balance it out to where it won't hurt my calorie count). When I get home at 7/8 at night, I have my last snack of the day while my wife eats dinner. We are still eating together, just not the same amount of meal. Now I know you have kids so your situation maybe a little different, but with a little dedication from them to help you, it'll work. Good luck!
