I'm so excited - when I went back to the doc in Feb after ditching the healthy eating/exercising gig I was in big trouble. My sugars were through the roof. The first time I tested after that appt - I hadn't tested in months - my fasting sugar was 297. Should be below 100 idealy, at least below 120. My fasting sugar this a.m. was 163. I am so close to a normal range! I anticipate having a reading in the normal range after a meal (under 120) sometime in the next couple of days. If I behave myself. And I will! Of course, I'll post all excited when that happens. *happy dance* :drinker:

Please consult regularly with your doctor and be safe and careful. Do lots of research.
I am type 1 and have had my share of ups and downs.
    Good luck!

I started here in December because my blood sugar was high and the doctor wanted to put me on diabetes meds. I was already on high doses of BP and cholesterol meds. I told him to give me 90 days and I would get my blood sugar in the normal range. I went back last week.

My blood sugar is back in the normal range and my BP and cholesterol are so good he is reducing my meds. I also lost 27 lbs in 90 days. I am on the treadmill AT LEAST 5 days a week on top of changing my eating habits.

Good Luck! ANYTHING is possible once you set your mind to it.
