Greek yogurt!! Cheese too but watch the fat. Also the Morningstar farms sausage patties have 20g protein and 6g carbs per serving (two patties). I struggle with getting enough just cause I don't feel like eating it all the time... so sometimes have protein shakes.0

I eat a lot of meat substitutes, but I know a lot of people don't like that, soooo...
Whey protein shakes are awesome, super easy way to get protein.
Eggs are great (assuming you're not vegan). Nuts and beans are also a really good source.
Also, greek yogurt! Yum!0 -
Hummus, but watch the carbs. 1 serving has like 45g carbs, so that may or may not be what you're looking for.0

Where do you get whey? Is this something you have to get at a GNC or can you pick this up at the grocery store?0

I think Morningstar Farms (and meat substitutes overall) have a lot of products that are high protein/low carb...0

Just for the record, I am not actually practicing a vegetarian lifestyle at this time. I just would like to slowly eliminate meat from my diet. However, I have been gaining weight lately because I have been leaning too hard on carbs because of cutting back so much on protein.
Thanks everyone for the info. Still open to more!0 -
I do a few meat free days here and there and beans are great (black beans are my fav) as well as everything other people mentioned0

I am becoming a vegetarian, well a pescetarian actually since I'm eating fish a few times a week. I haven't been having a problem getting enough protein but I've been using a lot of beans, I love black beans, and chickpeas, and they work really well in soups. I've been making and eating a lot of vegetable soup! It's lowfat, high in protein and fiber, and you can eat a gallon for a very few calories!0
