Any 50+ people here ready to support a newbie?

Hi, I'm three days in and I was wondering if there were any support groups for the 50+ generation? I've read several messages and blogs from the youngsters and my issues other than weight are a whole lot different!! LOL I could sure use support on my long journey to a healthier me. :)

    It was nice to see your post. Feeling a little lost. Semi-new to the site (11/2010). Start, then stop, then start up again. Anyway, I'm optimistic this time and telling myself "It took time to get here" "it's going to take time to get out of here" LOL! Being 50+, it appears to be more difficult to lose the weight. Or is it just me?

    I look forward to receiving whatever suggestions would help. And, hopefully help encourage someone else.

    I'm well over 50 and need some motivation to stay on track and stay focused. The best thing for me accountability to friends - can I join you?

    Hi. I'm going to be 51 next week. I'm also a teacher - 6th grade Ancient History.
    It's hard to lose at our age but it can be done - and it is always nice to have support along our journey.
