Go through some of the old forums about platueas...there are probably several success stories on how they overcame their plateaus.
Keep your chin up! You are doing great!

Think of it as a lifestyle change instead of an attempt to lose weight - It helps you to be more patient!!0

Work through it and don't give up - suddenly you will weigh-in and several pounds will have gone!!0

Well the alternative is pretty depressing, that is how we got in this predicament to begin with...
Stay positive!0 -

random thought to try: how often do you weigh in? i weigh in once a week. if you do once a week, hold out to weigh in for a month and THEN see...if you do it once a day (which i so dont recommend) wait two weeks.
i bet you'll see something then cause youll have kickstarted your brain to think a little differently. does that make sense at all? i tend to babble. LOL0 -
Hey there, I have been in the same situation I lost the majority of my weight lost to date almost 6 months ago (10kg-12kg) and have struggled to get to the 15kg mark. I have continued to train (super hard most weeks!), but my diet has not always been right, but the fact I have made training a part of my life style, even when I didn't see the numbers budging, I still felt good and still enjoyed it (and knew secrelty I could do more with my eating to get myself right, although I was fairly good, I could have been better). I even stopped using MFP for awhile but continued to train because I loved it. I was about to lose motivation just last week and wondered if my hard work was ever going to pay off, so I decided I needed a new motivator and pulled out a dress I had bought a couple of weeks before hand (a size too small), and decided I wanted to wear it for a special occasion coming up in next few weeks. I tried it on, and low and behold it fit already! That drove home you can't be discouraged by lack of loss on the scales. And you know what? This week I finally reached my 15kg milestone which seemed so elusive as I was so close, but couldnt get there.
I am now re-motivated and sure I will get to my next milestone (half way mark) by the end of April.
I guess one of the things that helped me was I recognised my new way of living as who I now was, regardless of the results. This way you are not hinging your efforts on results and helps reduce the disappointment, and certainly will help your resilience to keep going. The results will come eventually if you are doing all the right things, they just have to. Good luck!!0 -
It is easy to overestimate your exercise and underestimate your eating.
A HRM and kitchen scale can correct that.0 -
Thank u for all the positive thoughts its very Motivating and definitely want to keep moving forward!! Also, I weigh myself about twice a week which that in itself is problematic!! So I will definitely try picking 1 day a week.0
