how many boneless skinless chicken breasts would equal 1 lb?

I found a recipe calling for 1 lb boneless skinless chicken.....anyone know how many that would be???

    It depends how big the breasts are. Usually I use 2-3 average size ones for recipes like that...we like our stuff meaty lol

    Check the label on your package of chicken and divide the total weight by the # of breasts per package...that may give you a rough idea.

    Well, given that they're not all the same size, this is a bit of an estimate.

    I have a bag of 4 frozen breasts in the freezer which weigh 600g, so each one is approximately 150g.

    1 lb is about 450g so - about 3 average sized ones?

    This is when you really need a diet scale! Food always weighs more than you think it does. Look at the package where it tells you the price per pound and you can figure it out that way.

    Totally depends on the size of them...If they were well endowed chickens 2-3...I usually buy a 20oz pack and that is usually 3 large breasts...After trimming the fat and nasty bits I would say it comes out to roughly 1 pound uncooked
