I have decided to treat myself and have some popcorn tonight while I watch Greys Anatomy . The popcorn I have is only 160 mg of sodium per serving, but theres no way Im even going near the seasoning I have-its 570 mgs of sodium for a tablespoons worth.
I find natural popcorn so boring though, anyone have some good ,non"sinful" flavoring suggestions?

OMG honey, get yourself a popcorn popper, the kind that does air pop. it is seriously the best investment you can make and youll never go back to regular popcorn from the bag or even movie popcorn. its only 30 calories a pop and you can add salt to your liking or spray butter.0

if you don't mind Mrs. Dash, there's a lot of great savory blends out there salt free! There's a chipotle pepper blend i really love. But to get it to stick you might have to put it on ASAP when you open the bag. Or a tiny bit of honey heated in the microwave will drizzle nicely for only about 80 cal a TBS?0

Its different ....but I use some of the mccormick seasoning...yes seasoning that you would put on meat....i use that on my popcorn....that and a little butter flavored spray to help the seasoning stick!0

Add some chili or cayenne powder, garlic powder or onion flakes.
A popcorn popper is a worthwhile investment. I can make a big bowl of popcorn that's 110 calories and has no sodium. Awesome.0 -
I add pepper, garlic powder and chili powder to freshly-popped popcorn and shake it up in the bag to coat it.0

I can't agree more with the air-popper! Treat yourself to one! They can be tough to find, but you can't BEAT the calorie count! I add "I can't believe it's not butter" spray (or occasionally, even real butter) and just a pinch of salt and I'm set for a great at home movie night!
I've head some people season it with Mrs. Dash.0 -
icing sugar is good
hey, they said low sodium, not low calories0 -

That's close to what I do for a treat, I use pepper, garlic powder, chilli powder, grated parmesean cheese and (I admit it) some butter! I call it tex-mex popcorn0 -
Yeah I have been trying to get a popcorn popper, they are like impossible to find in this city.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone.0 -
