ShAkeology clense

I would like to know peoples thoughts/ results on the Shakeology clense? Also for those who did it was it hard on your system from day one to three, and did you have to drink the green tea just plain?

    I did it a month ago and loved it. I normally hate cleanses and usually have terrible headaches and can never finish them but this was the easiest one every! I did feel hungry all the time and lost 4 pounds. I do like green tea so that was not hard for me.

    I don't normally recommend cleanses but if you are going to do it I do recommend this one!

  • I did a lot of research on all different kinds of cleanses and ShAkeology was one of them. I am very weary when it comes to things that cost so much money so I decided to be a lil more natural and not as financially costing. I actually started a 72 hour cleanse this morning and the best one I found is a "Watermelon" cleanse. Its definitely more natural and cost effective. My suggestion do a lot of research before you start any type of cleansing/detox of your body. Good Luck

    Shakeology is a product from beachbody you can use it as a meal replacement but many people also use it for a three day clense!

    I am a coach (I know, so are half the people on mfp, lol) but I can sell you 9 packets of shakeology for the 3 day cleanse if you are interested.

    I'll be honest, it's hard to get thru (and I did the increased calorie version with adding fruit and nuts) but it did get rid of alot of bloat.

    I've done it 1x before with regular protein powder and am doing it again also with regular protein powder for 6 days this week just to win a biggest loser contest, ha ha! (I'm a healthy weight, on MFP for a couple years now trying to lose vanity weight so I kinda have to cheat to win, lol!)

    I lost 6 lbs the first time, 3 of those lbs were not real in that I had eaten more over the previous week so it was inflated but yes you will lose 3-10 lbs in 3days. Its usually temporary but if it gives you the motivation to keep going then great!

    Sample Menu – Repeat for three days:

    BREAKFAST:
    Shakeology – 1 scoop, blended with ice & 8-10 oz of water
    1 cup of green tea

    SNACK:1 piece of fruit

    LUNCH:
    Shakeology – 1 scoop, blended with ice & 8-10 oz of water
    1 cup of green tea

    SNACK:
    Shakeology – 1 scoop, blended with ice & 8-10 oz of water (This snack can be before or after dinner)

    DINNER:
    Salad
    - Lettuce/veggies
    - 4 oz lean protein (WHITE fish or poultry)
    - Light Dressing

    *** Again, you do NOT need Shakeology, regular protein powder works just as welll b/c protein fills you up. Be sure to eat your veggies so you get your basic vitamins. It is a 700 ish cal diet so it is not recommended for longer than 3 days. Let's see if I can survive for 6 while doing Insanity, yikes! ;)
