Hi everyone,
I started MFP in January when a friend told me about the site. I love it! It keeps me mindful of what I'm eating and how important exercise is. I'm a busy, married, working mom of 2 young boys so I get up between 5 and 5:30 a.m. to exercise. My body has adjusted to getting up that early and I really don't mind anymore. It's my time and I can usually work out without being interrupted. My highest weight was 225 when I had my youngest son in Dec. 2009. When I started MFP on 1/17/11 I was 207. Today I weigh 184.6 lbs. That's 40.4 lbs lost since my highest weight and 22.4 lbs lost since 1/17. YEAAAAHHHHHH!!!
I'm so motivated to keep moving forward.
I will definitely continue using MFP and I look forward to adding friends to get and give encouragement! I especially look forward to sharing this journey with women because our journey is definitely different then men (no offense to the men...it's just a different journey). I look at posts everyday, especially the success stories (weight loss and NSV)...they are so inspiring.
I saw in someone's post "The difference between a try and triumph is a little UMPH!" It stuck with me so I put it in my username as a reminder.
I wish everyone the best on their journey :flowerforyou:
