I am taking Armour now after being switched from Synthroid and Levothyroxine. Just recently found out I am supposedly overmedicated (labs show .44 although range is .3-3.0) however, my whole right hand is FREEZING and the rest of my body is COLD even though it is 73 degrees in here. I am about ready to crank the furnace up to 80. My hair has greyed prematurely (started to before being diagnosed with hypothyroidism) and what hair isn't greying is falling out, BIG TIME! Those with hypo issues, anything you are taking to help with the hair loss?? Even when I was on sythroid and levothyroxine my hair was falling out left and right, both when I was under medicated and right around where my TSH was mid-normal range

Hi there I also have hypo, been on levothyroxine for a year..my hair just started to get better.. I am thinking it has to do with the vitamin d3 i take... I read that people with hypo have low levels of vitamin D...you can get you level tested for vitamin D.. I take 5000 iu every other day...hope this helps. Do you eat enough protein?

Yeah, I am getting enough protein. I guess I should have my Vit D checked. Thanks for the suggestion.
Is your hair starting to get softer and shinier? Mine is so dull and brittle- I hate it.

Every other day- I use Hair One from Sally Beauty since it is sulfate-free. I recently tried L'oreal "Sulfate Free" Ever Strong, but it lathers up A LOT, so I don't think it is sulfate free like they claim, and it dries my hair out even more so.
