Hi, my name is Laura and I am new to myfitnesspal. I started this week and am really enjoying all the helps it gives on this journey of eating healthier and losing weight. I am 52 with the beginnings of arthritis in my knees and hips, and my doctor told me that the pain and wear and tear on those joints would decrees significantly if I dropped the extra pounds. So, I'm looking forward to all the input and assistance I will receive as I try to meet my goal.
