quit? lol
that's a heck of a way to confront temptation by working in the candy store. I know I wouldn't make it. I'd get sugar poisoning on the first day.0 -
Oh dear you poor girl ..
You need to look for another job ! hahaha0 -
oh I would be doomed!!! I love candy....im more of a candy person than a chocolate person!! but you just need will power...you can do it!! I use to work midnights at McDonalds and it was so hard not to just eat everything, cause we could. I managed though to go for a very long time without eating anything. I brought food with me and I just kept reminding myself that it wasnt worth it and I usually felt sick after anyways. It gets easier once it becomes routine. Good Luck!! You can do it!!0

i wish it was as easy as finding a new job but i'm in college to become a pastry chef and i LOVE my job. it's so much fun!! and i've always wanted to work there....its just that i was thinner then lol.0

Well it looks like to me that you are going to have to have some serious will power. You are going to have to stay focus on what is more important. It is all about determination. How bad do you want to reach your goal is the question you need to ask yourself. Jesus was tempted three times, and the first one with food. You can do it! Take healthy snacks to work, stay on track and have faith..0

Imagine that someone picked their nose and then touched all the candies.0

i'm such a candy addict i wouldn't be able to make it!! but YOU CAN DO IT! just don't tell yourself NO all the time. maybe just allow yourself one piece of candy each week or something... not too sure how you should do it, BUT i do know that saying NO to temptation all the time gets old & thats why people cave in & quit.0

I would allow myself one candy every hour that i was working and i would count up the calories that i consumed i would carry mouth wash with me because nothing is tasty with mouthwash flavor and write a note on my hand that said think before you snack.
thats what i would do. good luck.0 -
i really like the mouthwash thing your right nothing test good after you have used mouthwash lol0

Maybe you can get some poison stickers and put on the shelves by the candy...Probably not a good idea to put them where the customers can see them...0

I would find a substitue for all that evil merchandise in your store. Get something sweet and low on sugar, fat, and calories to munch on while you're at work. You should probably head to the grocery store as soon as possible lol.
Oh and make sure you're full before you get to work, not necessarily full when you leave your job, that should really help lol.
Good luck.0 -
I do work at a company that makes candy and snack mixes. I gained 10 lbs in a year! If I don't start eating it I do not want it. But once I start I just eat and eat!0
