Just wanted to get some opinions. I was going to set some initial goals and thought that 10% of my weight in 8 weeks would be a good goal. Am I shooting too high?

26 pounds in 8 weeks is a little high, but it is possible0

I've dropped 33 pounds in the last couple months coming from a starting weight of 276, so it's definitely doable. It just depends on your personal circumstances.0

I just joined the site as well. I don't think it's unrealistic. If my math is correct, that's about 2 lbs a week, right?0

I would think so. usually in the first couple weeks you lost the most anyways.0

My goal was to lose 20 lbs in 2 months - which happens to be almost exactly 10% of my weight.
Guess what? I'm right on track
So I sure hope it's possible!0 -
Thanks, everyone, for your feedback. That'll be my goal, then. I know it's a bit aggressive, but I'm focused!0
