cheese is no longer an everyday thing for me, it's more something i have if i'm treating myself, and then it's in small measurable portions! i seriously can't remember the last time i went to mcdonalds. but my worst thing by far was my "second dinner" that i used to do. my friends and i would go out for coffee late at night (especially when we were studying) and I would order a sandwhich or a ceasar salad, or toast or anything really that i wanted and could pretend was half way healthy, even though i had already had dinner that night. i can't believe how i never even considered that being something that contributed to my weight gain back when I was well over two hundred pounds!!
BUT I do let myself have a treat day, which is today (yay!!) but now i make sure i do this in moderation as well, so i dont blow all of my hard work during the week.0 -
A big juicy bacon cheeseburger. I can't remember the last time I ate one. Now anything heavy feels like a brick in my tummy, so I've given them up.0

I remember when I hardly went a single day without a glass of dessert wine or two or three...:blushing:0

Also I can't really exactly how many years it's been since I drank pop! I used to drink Dr. Pepper every day then I switched to Diet Dr. Pepper and finally quit them all together, gosh, it's probably been 4 years!!! wow
I don't miss all that bloating and belching either :drinker: lol0 -
I never thought I could live without dairy, eggs or bread..... Then I took a stab at a gluten free, Vegan lifestyle and I can't imagine my life any other way! I slip up from time to time, but I feel sooo icky that it just serves as a reminder of how amazing I feel now:bigsmile:
I may slip in a little cheese and italian bread from time to time, but I don't think I could ever go back now.0 -
hands down: soda. i have one on occasion now, but it's so infrequent i hardly even think of it.0

dessert and sweet snacks - cake, cookies, cheesecake, cupcakes, ice cream, candy, and potato chips. It will be 6 months next week. I don't miss the sweets, but I definitely miss potato chips.0

Flavored coffee creamer. I can't say I don't miss it, but it's not a temptation to me anymore, either.0

Diet Coke/ Pepsi. I used to drink it with practically every meal. I've given it up entirely and don't even have the cravings for it anymore!0

Fast food!!!!!, burgers, fries, fried chicken at 2 am at the bar:) etc. Its been so long I cant remember for taco bell or arbys or wendys, etc.(carls jr I think 6 months ago on a road trip) but chicken strips and fries at the bar beer munchies, its been years I think its fair to say. Also, weekly we would go out drink too much have a hangover the next day eat all day mostly fast food and junk cuz thats what sounded good... Now IF I get a hangover I feel bad to have 1 bad thing let alone an entire day of binging and I usually make myself work the bad stuff off with a run or hardcore cardio! Oh how times have changed:)0
