I have the hardest time staying on track on the weekends. Just because this is when Im home all day and I just get out of my routine. How does everyone stay on track on the weekends? I would love some ideas or even just to know Im not alone :flowerforyou:

I always plan my food out the day before. This way, I can work things like beer or snacks in and make adjustments so things aren't too crazy. It's actually a really therapeutic and cathartic thing for me to do once the kiddies are in bed and I'm enjoying my last snack of the night (usually a skinny cow chocolate truffle bar and a cup of sleepytime tea).0

I feel the same way. Weekends used to be when I would completely fall off the wagon, eating everything in sight. I realized, though, that if I did that every weekend, I would never lose any weight. I try to stay as busy as possible during the weekends when I am home with my two little ones. When they lay down for a nap, I do a workout DVD and try to keep moving, instead of laying on the couch with a bowl of chips. Its hard, but once you get into the routine of not overdoing it on the weekends, it becomes your "new normal." Good luck!0

Weekends are fairly easy for me. When I'm not at work, I always seem to eat less than when I'm not. Maybe it's because I work all over the place so I'm often driving around. That means I can just stop at a shop when I'm feeling a little hungry. Whereas at home, I have to make a conscious effort to get up and get some food. Basically, I'm lazy. Which is probably why I weigh nearly 300lbs.0

I hear you loud and clear on this one. I always tend to binge eat and gain a couple pounds when I step on the scale on Monday morning.
I tend to pig out on sweets, obviously chocolate is a huge thing for me. I allow myself one cheat meal a week (lately, I set it up for Friday nights - I make sure I workout that day!) and then on the weekends, it forces me to be good. Recently, I've been replacing my Lindor truffles with Jell-O dark chocolate sugar-free puddings. They're only 60 calories and I have them for dessert instead of pigging out on other more calorific dense chocolate desserts. It's been helping me crave my sweet tooth. Hopefully, it'll stick. My suggestion is if you have a sweet/salty craving, try to substitute your usual treats with something less calorie dense. And I try not to sit in front of the TV on the weekends...I usually surf the net, go on the treadmill or even take naps. lol I know that once my butt meets the couch, it's over. lol
Hope this helps and best of luck this weekend!!0
