Hi Everyone! New to FitnessPal, and can't wait to get started! Am looking for a good chicken salad recipe--the kind that you can eat in a sandwich (like tunafish salad sandwich). I looked online but got pasta salads, bowl salads, but I want a sandwich recipe! Thanks!!

  • I use plain greek yogurt in place of mayo. So shredded chicken, about 1/4 C greek yogurt with some roasted chopped walnuts and red grapes cut in quarters. It is pretty darn delicious! I just put it in a whole wheat pita pocket with basil or a lettuce leaf!

Yum! I need to get some big tubs of greek yogurt to use in place of mayo. These all look good

I don't follow a recipe but I like to use about 1- 1 1/2 cups chopped chicken breast, 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup light Hellman's mayo, 1 teaspoon Dijon, dash of onion powder, salt and pepper to taste.

Sometimes I add some of the following: halved red grapes, slivered almonds or chopped pecans, diced fresh tomato, chopped celery, chopped green or red apples. (Be creative!)
