So inspired!

I am reading everyones success stories, and I am getting so inspired by it all. I have never actually seen someone go through a large weight loss, and so seeing that it is possible is so inspiring! I just have a question for all of you that have lost a large amount of weight. Did any of you have success by working out at home? I have been doing DVD's and stuff, and once the weather warms up I'll be doing a lot more walking, but that's all the exercising I've been doing. I am watching my calories, and my final goal is to lose 100lbs, but I would like to lose 50lbs by September when Im getting married.
Again, thanks again for being so inspiring!

I have done nothing but workout at home... honestly, I just can't afford the gym. So i throw in the occasional swim at the rec centre or a nice long walk (which is becoming a jog now! YAY!). And I think I'm doing pretty good!
Just make sure you switch up the video's or you will get soooo bored. Turbo Jam is a good set to get and I really like my carmen electra ones. And you need to be sure you are doing strength at home as well. You can get some 3-8lb weights for pretty cheap at walmart.0 -
I just started yesterday, so I'm still real new to it, but I've done a Biggest Loser DVD for the last 2 days - cardio yesterday, and strength and sculpt today. I also have the 30 day shred which I'll start when I'm a bit more in shape, but I also was told to look on netflix, or on demand for other videos to do.0

My mom lost 40 lbs (on a 5'3 frame!) doing video game and video workouts exclusively. It can be done!0

I don't know if I have lost so much weight, there are some awesome successes on this sight that make me look like a light weight! I lost all my weight at home. II did have a home treadmill type of equipment, but I did not go to the gym. I do go now, but have not lost the majority of my weight there. Whatever gets you moving, DVDs, though I don't use them, obviously work. Mine was combination of eating right and exercise. You can do it!0

I work out at home and whenever I can, at the gym. Just move your body! No matter what, just MOVE. Whether you just flip on the radio and dance...anything to get your heart rate up!0

I did swimming at home when I first started, but then it got too cold , so I started walking. I have done a few dvds and the wii, but mostly walking and I have lost 60lbs. I did join the gym last week because I want to use the weight machines to tone my arms and stomach. I could do it at home but just think I will be more motivated to do it at the gym, You can do it0
