You know we try so hard to stay in track with our goals, I'm so close to getting there and then all of a sudden.....the frozen food section at the supermarket.

Food has always been an issue for me. I'm not a big eater and the foods that I love are so bad for me. I have realised that if I don't eat right then I'm just wasting my time at the gym. There is a trainer at my gym who says to achieve your goals you need commitment, consistency and discipline. It's so simple on paper but it's so hard, where is my little angel who sits on my shoulder and tells me "No Lance not the family block of chocolate, take the unsalted cashews instead".

So after eating my ice cream I final get a message from my little angel letting me know I haven't logged an entry in my food diary. Is that not a sign that I need to make clearer goals and objectives in my healthy lifestyle and stick with it. But I can't do it alone....I need my angel to step in an tell me I'm on the right track, can you help???

On that note......watch this space people!!!

Xoxo

Lance! You CAN do this. I find that the more self control I have the better I feel, and it just gets better and better every time I resist something I shouldn't be eating!
You CAN CAN CAN CAN CAN do this!

Welcome Lance, seems to me like you have figured out the most important piece of this process...if you don't log it you are only lying to yourself, and that doesn't take long to defeat you!

Having a great support system, both here and in real life, helps tremendously in keeping you accountable but it's most important that you answer to yourself ;)

Good luck, start networking on here, and don't give up!

hi lance. i am a chocoholic. agree that you need a support system to hold you accountable and keep tabs on your progress. keeping track helps me make the unsalted cashew choice. i weigh-in daily as part of the accountability to myself and my MFP friends. i still go for the cookies and cream but i do it knowing the outcome...therefore no guilt so i can enjoy it.
