so i keep seeing mostly everyone do the 30 day shred and i was wondering if that was any good also has anyone tried the Banish Fat Boost Metabolism or the No More Trouble Zones. I am thinking about getting them but I dont want to waste my money since I also have insanity but its a little bit too adventerous for me now.
Also, with the 3 jillian michaels dvds are there a lot of shoulder things/movements or things like jumping around (im asking because i have a sprained shoulder and wrist and thumb so any arm movements on one side of body is out and i would want til a little later til i get them)
thanks

she does a TON of planks--which are great in general--but would be death for your shoulder/wrist/thumb!! So I would recommend holding off on them, BUT once you're healed, I would recommend them most highly!!! The Shred and Ripped in 30 (which is a new one) is well worth the money 'cause you can keep coming back to them again and again. Plus, they are only 20-30 mins which is relatively easy to fit into the day. Get healed soon--and don't push too fast otherwise you'll just hurt yourself worse and then recovery time will be even longer. Good luck0

I have her 30 Day shred, BFBM and and NMTZ and love them!0

I have all three of those dvds and also her new one Ripped in 30. I think all of them are fantastic workouts. In both BFBM and NMTZ there are seven circuits of five different exercises each which are done twice per circuit. In BFBM, you are working without weights and in that one there is a lot of jumping around, many things done in plank pose, and a good bit of ab exercises. In NMTZ, you use hand weights and there is a good bit of lifting and shoulder use but not as much jumping around.
30 DS and Ripped in 30 are both very similar with the three circuits of 3 minutes strength, 2 minute cardio and 1 minute abs. You will be doing lifting and jumping around in both of these.
Maybe just give your body time to heal before jumping into anythingI would definitely recommend all of these though.

All Jillian videos are great! My fave is the NMTZ-mostly strength and works your body OUT!!!! BFBM - is mostly cardio and kills me!(in a good way) If I were you..I'd just get the whole collection!!0

I love the 30 day shred an ripped in 30 (her newest). I get bored with the trouble zones one. If you have any arm/wrist/shoulder injuries, you won't be able to do about half the exercises. Most of her movements involve both arms and legs at the same time.0

If you are look for a DVD that will kick your butt and get you inot shape then get Banish Fat Boost Metablism. It's tough but a great cardio workout. Best of luck0

She has a program called 30 Day Slimdown which incorporates all three DVDs: Shred, BFBM and NMTZ. I think it's good to do 30 Day Shred first because it'll get you used to her style and prepared for her other DVDs. Slimdown was hard but I didn't get radical results like the Shred. I agree with others on BFBM, it is definitely a cardio blast and you shouldn't hurt your shoulders/wrists too bad if you avoid some of the floor moves. NMTZ works your shoulders hard from the very first circuits so I'd be careful with that. I'm also getting bored of NMTZ so hopefully after my current program, I"ll have more fun with her new DVDs.
You can download the Slimdown plan here: http://www.exercisetv.tv/workoutplans.aspx?id=10 -
thanks everyone, I really appreciate all your help0
