I have absolutely NO energy. I could really sleep all day and still be tired. My weight loss is at a near standstill and has been for weeks. I'm at a loss at what i need to do to get it moving and me moving again. I still have 25 pounds to go...

You might want to look at your diet and make sure you are taking in enough to support yourself. also, it could be your iron levels. i had that problem and started taking a supplement. it helped incredibly!!

You may need to eat more. If you are set to lose 2lbs/week, try changing to 1lb/week. This will give you extra fuel (calories) to provide you with energy.

This is just a part of it! please read the link above

Generally someone with a BMI over 32 can do a 1000 calorie a day (2 lbs a week) deficit
With a BMI of 30 to 32 a deficit of 750 calories is generally correct (about 1.5 lbs a week)
With a BMI of 28 to 30 a deficit of 500 calories is about right (about 1 lb a week)
With a BMI of 26 to 28 a deficit of about 300 calories is perfect (about 1/2 lb a week)
and below 26... well this is where we get fuzzy. See now you're no longer talking about being overweight, so while it's still ok to have a small deficit, you really should shift your focus more towards muscle tone, and reducing fat. This means is EXTRA important to eat your exercise calories as your body needs to KNOW it's ok to burn fat stores, and the only way it will know is if you keep giving it the calories it needs to not enter the famine response (starvation mode)

    Good luck on your journey
  • I felt the same way then I started taking a vitapak from GNC called Women's ultra mega active. It has an energy enhancer in it. I noticed the energy increase the very first day i took it.

It was like that for me on 1200kcal diet. You can only do that for so long. Once I upped my calorie intake I felt more energetic and started losing weight again.
Also, I made sure I ate a lot of "mood" foods and foods that boost your energy. It did help.

Also, do you get enough sleep? I am now religious about 8 hours a night. I used to get 4-5 hours and that really affected my energy levels (obviously!)

I am betting on what others said about not eating enough. We get going losing weight and if cutting calories works we then but more thinking it will work better and then even more. I dieted for about 9 months and then struggled for three months. When I found MFP and started eating again I started losing again. What is your exercise daily?
