End of my tether.....

Ok, so i have been watching calories for months, exercising 3 times a week and leading an active 'healthy' lifestyle as much as one person can take - but right now I am at the end of my patience.

I have been doing all this and although my weight loss is meant to be 3lbs to be honest my weight just fluctuates constantly between 11st and 11st 11lbs!!!

I am tall and quite athletically built (yuhuh) but am not seeing the loss and i really really want to be seeing it.

so right now i've been sitting at work for an hour staring at the order button for Alli....!!!! just because i want to see some results so badly. it's either that or devour an easter egg or seven.

I know i'm being over dramatic but it's just so frustrating when you're not seeing the results.

any help/advice/ support would be so welcomed right now

    Are you eating enough calories?

This is just a part of it! please read the link above

Generally someone with a BMI over 32 can do a 1000 calorie a day (2 lbs a week) deficit
With a BMI of 30 to 32 a deficit of 750 calories is generally correct (about 1.5 lbs a week)
With a BMI of 28 to 30 a deficit of 500 calories is about right (about 1 lb a week)
With a BMI of 26 to 28 a deficit of about 300 calories is perfect (about 1/2 lb a week)
and below 26... well this is where we get fuzzy. See now you're no longer talking about being overweight, so while it's still ok to have a small deficit, you really should shift your focus more towards muscle tone, and reducing fat. This means is EXTRA important to eat your exercise calories as your body needs to KNOW it's ok to burn fat stores, and the only way it will know is if you keep giving it the calories it needs to not enter the famine response (starvation mode)

    Good luck on your journey

since you have less than 10lbs to lose (based on your profile) your goal should be to lose 0.5lbs/week. I suggest you go in and change this on your goals tab. Having a large deficit when you don't have much to lose can cause more harm than good. You risk burning muscle instead of fat if your body cannot handle the caloric deficit. Please re-think your goals and remember, slow and steady wins the race

would the same go for only having 20lbs to lose? i've got my goals set at 1.5lbs a week, but i'm lucky if i'm shifting that a month an i rarely go over my kcals. should i just concentrate on exercise an toning?

Open your diary so we can see what's up.

with only 20 to go I would say 1lb/week max.

On your diary can you add sodium to the tabs? I know that's an issue for many..
