Fat-free or sugar free creamer?

Ok so apparently I didn't realize there were two different options other than just regular creamer (the liquid kind in the refrigerator section). So what's better---fat free coffee mate or sugar free?

I don't remember where I heard it...maybe Dr. Oz...somewhere I heard that it is better to go with regular cream if you've got to have it...

that's the one vice I have kept in my diet....

That's a tough one. I ended up switching to half and half. There's some fat but no sugar and really I just want a creamy coffee anyway.

I use fat free instead of sugar free. I hate the taste of sugar substitutes and have my disagreements with them.

I love white chocolate mochas and I had tried the "skinny" one and it didn't taste the same. I currently use the sugar free kind, its' not to bad tasting.

I don't want to use just half and half just b/c I do like a little bit of sweetness to my coffee (this is a BIG improvement since before I would load it up with sugar...now I don't use any sugar, just French Vanilla coffee mate). The regular stuff is 1g fat but 5g of sugar. Almost doesn't even seem worth it to switch. I don't drink too much coffee...maybe two cups throughout the course of the morning.

Coffee-mate uses partially hydrogenated oils, so stay away from Coffee-mate. The International brand creamers are yummmmmy. I like the sugar free hazelnut. There is a new one called La Creme that is made with real cream and has yummy flavors. Or just go with half-and-half. Whatever you do, steer clear of Coffee-Mate. :flowerforyou:

I was using the sugar free creamers, like the French vanilla. I don't want to consume the artificial sugar hydrogenated oils(!!!!!), so I switched to half and half as well. Just stick to the 2 tbsp. serving!
