Man that yogurt is gross, I like the fact that it doesn't have much carbs in it like the other yogurts, but it does not taste good at all. I even put strawberries and blueberries in there and it tooke me forever to eat half of it.:noway:

yeah, it's not sweet at all, I added it to fruit smoothies and used as a substitute for sour cream.

I've only tried liberte and I love it! I add apple butter and cinnamon to flavour it :)

I love it! Add some agave nectar or xylitol and you might like it. It's incredibly good for you!!!
  • I love the Fage with cherries or honey. Plain -- no way!!! unless using it in lieu of sour cream.

Try the Chobani greek yogurt ... Greek yogurt in general is an acquired taste because of its texture but if you can get past the texture Chobani I THINK is great!

It's a great substitute for sour cream!

It is an acquired taste. But it is worth it. Get yourself to like it. Try the 2% with the fruit-- only like 120 cal and tasty. After that, you can move to the nonfat, no fruit.

I sometimes have the Fage with fruit as a dessert.

Nope but I LOVE Chobani non fat Greek yogurts. Try those...they have fruit in them or you can get the vanilla. So good and thick. It amazes me they are fat free and only 140 calories!

Yeah -- with honey, it rocks! The 2% doesn't have too many more calories than the 0%, so that's the one I usually get.

I also bought a (relatively) healthy fruit spread, and sometimes mix that in with it -- yum!

ETA: Everybody keeps saying "acquired taste", but that just wasn't my experience -- to me, it has the mouth-feel of really rich ice cream but with a little bite to it's taste. Maybe I have weird taste buds... :blushing:

Mmm I love it now. Definitely an acquired taste, but if you add stuff to it (honey, fruit, nuts, etc) it becomes palatable and in time, you can eat it with less sugary add-ons.

Just this morning I had 1/2 cup fage non-fat yogurt with a teaspoon of honey and a 1/3 cup of bran buds. Delicious.

To each his/her own. I happen to really like it and use it in everything.

I saw those at the store, how about the carbs are they high. The advantage of fage is the carbs are like 9 versus 26 in activia.

Well I might just eat half a cup instead of one cup to start with.
  • I wasn't keen on it. Morrisons do a nice low-fat Greek yoghurt though

I love the Fage 2% with either peaches or cherries. I think the carbs are around 18 for a serving. I definitely like the texture of the 2% better than the fat free. Though the fat free is nice for things like tzatziki or salad dressings.

I'm literally eating one right now for the first time...I love it! it's with strawberry and goji...when I opened it, I was worried cuz it looked really thick, but I like it a lot. Definitely has a bit of a tangy after taste to it...but I guess that's something to get used to

I love it! Plain...no fruit or sweetner added...but it took me a good month to get used to the taste of it. Now whenever I have the regular yogurt (yoplait or other brands)...I can't even gag it down....too sweet and not creamy. Ick. I like my greek yogurt! Lol.

I agree. The plain stuff is gross! But I tried the one with cherries on the side and adding a bit more sugar free jam to it and it was delish! 10 grams of protein in that little container. Perfect for a post workout snack!!!
