Hi!

I am a newbie to MFP, and am loving every second of it. Such a great tool!

I am doing an Atkins approach to weight loss (am hypoglycemic, so it fits my body best) and would love to add others using Atkins.

I have a few recipes to share and could always use a few more.

Cheers!
Dahna

Yes and I finally and going down, Yeah! I'd like to see MFP track Carbs better and supply Net carbs.
  • Not on Atkins exactly - but very similar - complex carbs love to set up camp in my body far too much for me to eat many of them so I've learned over the years to avoid them. Always love new recipes and I have a bunch myself.

Great to see others needing a low carb approach.
    :)

I tend to fall into a rut with my recipes, so being able to share with others will help stave off the boredoms.

    Thanks!

I do a low carb approach too. Not Atkins but the CSIRO eating plan. Its a low carb higher protein eating plan devised by the Australian Government's scientific research body CSIRO. It is really really good. Easy to implement, realistic and has 2 fabulous cookbooks with great recipes you can google it and Im pretty sure you can buy it online. I was really addicted badly to carbs and really sick because of the amount of wheat and sugar based carbs I was eating. Nearly all my symptoms are gone since being on it for 3 months such a relief I can tell you. The plan is called CSIRO total well being plan. Worth looking at. Has worked for me.
