I've been craving bagels in the morning lately. No idea why.
I need help thinking of ways I can use them for breakfast other than using butter/cream cheese. (I tend to gorge my self with cream cheese when it's in my fridge. lol.)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! ♥

Get Whole Wheat Bagel Thins (110 calories) and scrambled one egg (approx 80 calories) - make an egg-bagel breakfast sandwich. Spice it up with hot sauce....and even throw on a couple slices of deli ham (20-30 calories).
210 calories +/- and keeps you filling full!0 -
Lightly toast them, and put a little shredded chicken on them.0

I'm a bread girl so I hear you on this haha. I like Thomas Bagel thins (everything bagels
) Either way, I like to make a sandwich out of it with protein and such. I like to put a base of 2-3 turkey slices down, maybe some egg whites, spinach, and hummus or something like that.

So, many people would argue that the bagel is what's not great for you - not necessarily the butter or cream cheese. Are you sure there isn't something else you want to eat in the morning? (I know bagels are convenient)0

I eat bagel thins (BT) so here are my suggestions....
BT & laughing cow cheese
BT w/ peanut butter & sliced apple
BT w/ egg beater (little egg sandwich)
BT w/ laughing cow cheese and smoked salmon (one of my FAVES!)0 -
Thank you for the options, guys! ♥
@ckncj: That doesn't sound that bad, but since I start school really early in the morning I don't have time to make eggs. Not to mention the don't ever seem to agree with me.So, I'll definately try it with out the egg and use the hot sauce and deli ham.
@Begood03: Hehe. Nice username. The shreeded chicken sounds appealing. Oooh, maybe if I put a small pinch of light cheese over it?
@letsdothis2010: I'm thinking about combining yours and ckncj's ideas. I think that would be absolutely amazing.
@_LDM_: Well, I know what I would go overboard with the cream cheese, so I'm trying to stay away from it. I guess I know what you mean about begal not being that great for me since they tend to have a lot of carbs, I think, but I'm not gonna make it an everyday thing. I would prabably use it as something to spice my diet up every now and then on the mornings where I REALLY don't want my traditional fruit+Granola.
@Kacee75: You're a god send. The Bagel with laughing cow and smoked salmon sounds great for this weekend. Omg. Can't wait to try that. I'm gonna try the peanut butter and sliced apple combo tomorrow morning.Thank you.
