BACK FAT!

ok so i have a huge issue! .. i've been in maintance for almost 2 years. i've been doing lots of training and eat healthy, but for some reason my back fat wont go away!!! i have huge rolls on my back.. literally its like 2 big rolls the size of 2 bananas each! even at my skinniest which was 107 lbs ..(im 5'1 btw) i still had those freaking rolls! i lke wearing backless shirts when i go out because i have very nice tattoos that i'm very proud of ... but those rolls make me feel so self conscious! specially when wearing a bikini!! the strap on the back literally gets swallowed in between those rolls!. i have very muscular legs, my stomach needs some tightening but it's flat non the less, my arms are getting toned, my face isn't chubby... but if you look at me from behind you would swear i was chunky! it's like 2 different people stuck together ....
which lead me to asking... i know the only way to target specific body fat storage in your body is through surgery.. which i dont want to do... and even though i already do strength training for my back... is there any specific exercises or anything to get rid of these rolls!!!??? i know your body is gonna burn the fat from wherever it wants to... but what can i do???? im going on my first vacation this june and these need to go by then help??!

Are you wearing a proper sized bra? I would go get professionally fitted - it might make a difference - unless you are saying the back fat rolls are there even without the bra -
as for specific exercise- Rowing machine, oblique exercises (side planks, twisting abdominal moves), shoulder flys - just guessing....I am not an expert0 -
lol no i mean when i wear a bikini... you know how you tie the 2 strings in the back? since they are so thin, the cut into my back fat and it looks horrible.0

i have that when i lean back, they get smaller when i lose weight, but never have gone away, even at my thinnest. if you find a way to get rid of them, i'd like to know too!0

I was 235 at my heaviest and I never had rolls - not in the front or the back - and I'm 5'2". My much-thinner friends couldn't understand it because some of them had the pockets of fat under their shoulder blades. This just goes to show that bodies are soooo vastly different. I happen to carry my fat in my arms and butt. Even when I was very thin, I had wide arms and a big booty.
It sounds like you're working really hard and from what I see in your pics you look amazing! I can only imagine the impossible beauty standards you see in Miami. I suppose I'm saying, try not to worry about it so much. You look like a million bucks!0 -
I agree..you look amazing! Be grateful for the beauty you have:) I am also height challenged. I am 5'1 and a 1/2...can't forget the half..lol. I know I freaked when I found back rolls I never had. They remind me of purses on my back!!! UGH! I am not sure how to rid of these since you are thin...but the one thing I know that is big is posture. Stay aware of how you stand and sit. In one pic I noticed that you were slouching jus a little. I know that it is def more prominent on me when I am not standing with rib cage up and chest out. Maybe that would help.... I hope it helps..if not, try not to stress. You are probably the ONLY person who sees it that way. Everyone else is thinking..wow!! If they aren't, they are shallow SO forget them!!............Good luck. xo0

I had back fat also and it finally went after after P90X and Insanity. For me the havey cardio is what got rid of it but like some people said, being short doesn't help (I am 5'4" so I know what you mean). You look great!0

Pull-ups and flys have helped me a TON! I can't do real pull-ups but I use a chair and pull up as far as I can with my arms and then push myself up with 1 leg. It will totally tone your back muscles. Good luck!0
