Beachbody diet plans

Hi everyone,
Just started TurboFire and I love it! But I have a question. Do I have to follow their dietary guide exactly to see results? MFP gives me a daily allowance of 1200 so I can lose, but should I eat more on workout days? Or should I try and follow their plan? I know different people have said that Beachbody tends to overestimate the amount a person needs. I'm not really paranoid about making sure I stick to such a low calorie diet so long as I see results. It's definitely kicking my butt so far

Log your workouts and you will see an increase in caloric allotment. MFP has a built in deficit for every-day activity-level. If you're doing more, you need to eat more.
ETA: Everyone I've talked to about p90X says it works best if you follow the diet plan. I haven't been and haven't seen as dramatic results in consequence.0
