In honor of Monday...the least of all favorite days for most...I propose a way to honor those moments we overcame the desire to not get our workouts in for some lame excuse.

My lame excuse I overcame....working out without a hair tye. Yes I actually considered skipping the gym on my way home because I couldnt find anything to pull my hair back. I did end up working out and discovered its kind of fun to let your hair down on the ellipticel.

Mine: there's only an hour left until gym closes for the night - not enough time to do anything useful.

Pfffttt - I can burn 700 calories in an hour if I put my mind to it!!!!

    Great post btw :flowerforyou:

I couldn't find the "right" socks for my run.

Fortunately, the "wrong" ones worked just fine too.

I had to go into my 2nd job early today so I only had an hour between jobs... almost didn't work out but tied on my running shoes and Still ran 2.74 miles in 22 minutes, with enough time to get ready for the next job! =)

lol...awesome. Good to know I wasn't the only one sweaty with my hair all down! :)
  • Mine is that I am coming down with something...surely caught from the other sickies in the house...but I want this so badly for myself now that I at least did some walking and I am still going to go and do one more workout before bed. I am literally exhausted because my baby refuses to sleep right now, but I know that with God..I can overcome ALL things! So I am really putting Him to the test here. He gave me this temple (body) to take care...so of course he would want me to take care of it (which I haven't been doing for awhile now). If He wants it for me, He will provide a way to achieve it! So there you go...I have ben giving these excuses for QUITE some time now...but I am trying to "Bring It!"

This is totally me but it's the "right' capri's, has to be my black ones and if i can't find them then i'm totally not feeling the workout.

So tired from walking today - and carrying my daughter a good bit of the time (she's a solid 35 pound 2 year old, who likes to run off - reason for carrying). But told myself I had to do it, it was my night to ride on the bike - so I pushed through and even thought about stopping halfway through, but kept telling myself go a couple more minutes - before I knew it the 30 minutes were up. Still tired, but feel so much better!
