If anyone in the uk has a lidl near them they are doing a HRM with chest band for £14.99

not sure exactly how good it is yet, but if you are stuck on a tight budget it might prove helpful.

I picked one up for my hubby today, so I am going to wear it at the same time as my polar FT4
and see what happens after my zumba class tonight.

I ordered one from Amazon at the weekend, which hasn't arrived as yet. I will call in at Lidl later on and see if they've got any left. I've no idea what good looks like with a HRM, so will be useful to have something at least.
  • Ohh, thanks. Keep us posted as to its accuracy after Zumba please.

Tiggermummy, how did you find the Lidl HRM?

I bought one and it looks like it works OK, but I am somewhat clueless as to what good looks like in a HRM - I work in HR and until this work thought HRM stood for Human Resources Manager!!! Will try it out tomorrow, but I have it on now and it's found my heart which I guess is a good start. Anyone else with tips, I'd certainly be interested to hear them....

sorry not posted an update as my zumba class got cancelled due to no music.

I'm doing 30 day shred tonight so will compare it on that.

Sounds like good value - I bought mine in Decathlon a few weeks ago for about £25.

Is Lidl doing any other gym/ fitness specials this week?

Well I got one, and did it with my shred yesterday, it gave me a reading of about 25 more calories burned than how I have been logging it, so it seemed fairly in line (i've been logging it similar to circuit training, I can't really remember!)

Lidl were doing offers on running tops / trousers / jackets at reasonable prices when I was there.
