I know a lot of you have followed the story of my friend who almost died when she got an embolism to her heart just before getting her epidural in early September. She finally went home last Monday. And this is a sight I have been waiting for!! Being able to be a mother!

Thats so awesome Tami .... maybe all those little prayers for her helped....!!
I was actually just looking at all the pics on facebook! Looks like shellie still has some recovering to do but oh how she looks so sweet with that beautiful baby in her hands
How is shellie feeling?(abviously better but how much more recovery does she have) She is still lookinig weak and tired in the pictures ,,,, understandably!!!She will make a 100% recovery right?
and again what an awesome heart warming picture!!! she must be soooo happy to be able to hold that sweet baby!!0 -

What a beautiful sight. God does answer prayers. I'm so happy that Shellie has the chance to be a mommy to her precious baby. Thank you, Tam, for sharing her story with us and giving us the opportunity to pray for her and prove God's love. God bless you and Shellie and her family. And God bless everyone who prayed for her. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0

You know what I love about this picture is not just that she's snuggling with her baby-- I've opened this thread a dozen times today just to look into Shellie's eyes. I don't know her, have never met her, but her eyes are just incredible-- the eyes of a woman who who has been spared, and no doubt has a greater perspective than ever before on the fragility of life and living for a higher purpose.
I don't know what I'm trying to say, necessarily-- but I'm just loving her eyes. I'm blithering, I know, I'll shut up now.0 -
