Creating side-by-side photos

I would like to make some side-by-side before and after photos to post. What software do you all use to do that? I don't have photoshop and I looked into picnick (which would have been ideal) but you have to have their premium paid service to layer pics. Some of y'all have great seamless combined pictures :happy:

Any suggestions or free software that could help me do this? Thanks!

    You can do it in photobucket. Sort of. You can make a collage under edit photos. Super easy.

    Enter pictures you want into a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. When you are going to save it click "Save As". When the dialog box comes up change the file type from "presentation" to "JPEG". It will save every page of the slideshow as a picture. Then you can upload it to whatever internet picture place you use. From there copy the image code into one of your posts just change the IMG and /IMG to img and /img.

    You can use something as simple as Paint that is already on your computer! Or any of the above.
