As the others have said, squats lunges etc, if your looking for a dvd to follow Jillian Michaels 30 day shred worked wonders on my legs and thighs. And my arms. And my stomach. And everwhere else in between now I come to think of it!

These are lunges. You don't have to use the weight at first if you don't want.

when im at home i use my exercise ball to do wall squats...basically i put the ball behind my lower back and stand so that the ball is pinned between my back and the wall with my feet about 2 feet in front of me...then i slowly go down into squat position, you want your thighs to be about parallel to the floor (the ball rolls with you as you squat). Sit in your squat for about 2 seconds before you go back to standing postion. I do about 3 sets of 15.

If you dont have an exercise ball, step ups are great and burn calories while toning your glutes and thighs

    Side note to all:

If someone mentions an exercise and you haven't the slightest idea what they are referring to........ try to find it on youtube. I don't want to sound "mean" or anything, but this will save you a lot of time, effort and frustration.

    Good luck!!!

Squats, lunges, wall squats, single leg wall squats, moving runners lunges (rolling the back ball of the foot forward while in the position)... many many options!

    P90X is really awesome!
