Best ever chocolate muffins

I stumbled upon this recipe years ago from a weight watchers recipe site and have been making them ever since. My kids love them too!
Take one box of devils food cake mix (any brand) and stir in one can of pureed pumpkin. Nothing else... just the pumpkin. Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake til done (about 20-30) minutes. They will be very moist when you take them out not to mention hot. So try to wait a few minutes for them to cool before devouring.
Enjoy!

My mom makes these and they're delicious!! And I absolutely hate pumpking...but you can't taste the pumpkin at all. They're so moist and tasty! Another thing you can try is mixing a cake mix with a can of diet soda. The combinations are endless! We tried a strawberry cake mix with diet 7up and it was awesome! I love the chocolate the best though!0

I wonder if this would work with brownie mix. There is a black bean brownie recipe floating around out there. I have a niece (in-law) that won't eat anything except junk food. This would be a great way to trick here - which mom is all for these days.0

15oz can of pumpkin
and depending on the cake mix you use they should average about 170 calories per muffin (I just plugged them into the recipe calculator on MFP and thats what it said)0 -

I sometimes do these with a spice or carrot cake mix. I add a little water too. I made some yesterday & topped with Pillsbury's sugar free (Splenda) vanilla frosting & some chopped walnuts. Delicious!0

They sound delish & I can't wait to try it. Do you know how many cals & such are in it or where I can look it up? I'm OK doing the leg work if you'll point the way ;-) Thanks much!0
