Hi! Rice ??

Well I have about 15lbs to loose and in visiting the site - I like it!!!

Trying to adjust the diet.... What is the best type of rice - i.e. more fibre, less cals, less carbs etc.etc. - THANKS!!

    whole grain/ high fiber!

    Brown, wild, and black.

    Anything other than white (refined and/or processed).

    I eat all kinds of rice all the time and it hasn't stopped me losing :O)

    Whole grain is all I use anymore.

    We buy uncle ben's long grain brown rice. We make it in a rice cooker....mmmmmm!

    Try replacing your rice with Quinoa...still has calories and some carbs but so much better for you.

    if not do Brown rice.

    I've pretty much cut rice, bread, pasta and potatoes from my day to day diet all together.

    I've never had Quinoa, but have heard good things about it....how do I prepare?
