I went out to Cora's for lunch with my mom on the weekend (my favorite breakfast restaurant) they don’t have any nutritional information available on line or in the restaurant which really worried me. So instead of getting the spinach omelet (I hear it has cream in it)I love or the banana hazelnut waffle I would kill for I chose to have two eggs and fruit!

Not a huge deal to some but I decided to choose the one thing I knew they couldn't really add calories to with cream or sugar.
The way I felt after making the right choice for lunch was better then any waffle I've ever had :-)

You deserve ALOT of credit! I have the hardest time eating at restaurants. I can always make the right decision at home, but once i'm at a restaurant it's fries and cheese and all the bad stuff.

    GREAT JOB!!!!!

That's wonderful, awesome job! Going out to eat is tough, we feel like it's a treat and then think "I should be able to get what I want." But you're right, what you want is to make heathly choices, and you did, great job! You are really making this a lifestyle change, not a diet. Keep that mentality up and you'll be to you goal in no time!
  • That is really good sweetie! I know that it is so so so very difficult to not fall back into old habits, especially when we KNOW what we are missing...your attitude about this is AWESOME though, and you have helped me to remember the importance of being prepared prior to going to a restaurant. I began my new diet changes in January, my mom and I went out for dinner for a special night and I got what I normally get and I could only eat 3 of the 6 oz of filet. The food was still so overly rich that Iwhen I got home I was sick to my stomache. Our bodies change on the inside as well as the outside as we go through this process. They respond by making internal adjustments, and those adjustments have lasting affects! So way to go!! One small step for woman...one giant leap for womankind! lol
