Hey y'all...I'm needing some extra help in the prayers department....here's the scoop:

My brother was seriously injured in Iraq three years ago. His arm was all but torn off and his skull was crushed. They saved his arm, for the most part, and finally put a plate in his head. His arm has been giving him trouble from the moment they "fixed" it.

Just this summer, they realized he had a staph infection in his bone and put him on lots of meds and he's been lugging around an IV pack for a month or so. (not easy, seeing as he only has one good arm)

Just this morning I received an email saying this, among other things:"The official name of my infection is : Mycobacterium Avium-Intracellulare. The doc seemed to think that my bone was exposed to it while my arm was open in Iraq. Its a baterium in the same family as TB." And that there is talk of amputation.

My brother, after surviving three years of pain and uncertainity, as well as becoming sober and now counseling others, needs your prayers.

:flowerforyou: Thank you:flowerforyou:

What a difficult thing to deal with. He will certainly be in my prayers.
