Hey all,
I am looking for suggestions, let me explain me a bit first. I HATE conventional exercise, put me on a treadmill,an eliptical trainer,or even in front of a dvd & I know I am exercizing. for get about it,you have lost my intrest immediately. I have tried to suck it up for the greater good but when you don't like something your really don't like it and can't stick with it.
Get me out doors however & I can jog for hours, bike for days & Hike for months.. and that it is actual exercise never crosses my mind because I love it so much. Just over a year ago I was jogging with my dog morning & night an hour each outing when I rolled my ankle .bad enough to break it. Once that healed I took up an old passion, kick boxing, when I blocked a kick and tore the ligiments in my knee. That healed and I decided to take up hiking, my dog and I go out into the woods for hours, but last night while climbing a rock face I slipped and dislocated my shoulder.
So as you can tell I love, really tough activities, however they do not like me so much any more. Any suggestions for someone who loves the outdoors, hates conventional exercise & who is as accident prone as they come?:ohwell:

Sisters separated at birth?? Last Oct when I started to kick up the intensity of my walking , I twisted my ankle and down I went. Luckily for me nothing broken but it was hard to get back into the routine again. I say take Fido back for his walks and start with lower intensity. That is what I did and <gasp> I'm jogging now.0

Start out small with exercising again, and rebuild your strength. You can't jump back into the routine that you were at before, b/c that will definitely cause injuries.0

lol. Thanks ladies, I will try to slow it down a bit, perhaps eventually I will start jogging again too.lol0
