I am new to this site. I have 40-45 lbs. to lose. I used to be into body-building and taught aerobics, but due to several accidents and issues over the last few years, I have gained a lot of weight and it has affected my health. I really want to lose. I took early retirement a few months ago and I will be 65 in August. I want to be healthy and sassy. :happy: I'd appreciate any encouragement. I would also enjoy getting to know some of you on here and return the encouragement. -Elizabeth

im new also im trying to lose 10 -20 lbs .......i think its just a matter of changing what i eat i have a bit os a sweet tooth i hope that this site helps me out ...so far it has ive lost 2 lbs ...yay0

2011_4mygirls, thank you for the welcome and I'm glad to know that I will find encouraging and supportive people on here.
Newfiedan, I do know the "building blocks;" however, my metabolism has really slowed down the last couple of years. It takes A LOT of exercise to even lose 1 lb. I can get discouraged if I am not careful. I have to remind myself of how much better I am feeling since I'm working out even if I don't see much progress. Thank you for your encouragement.
