MEASURE!!!!!
I wish soo bad I would have measured.
I also should have taken a photo of myself and posted on my fridge. I probably would have started months and months ago!0 -
YES - MEASURE!!!
and water, water, water!0 -
Take a day off from exercise here and there...
Pushing too hard for too many days in a row resulted in slumps, soreness, and injuries and thus became increasingly counterproductive. Now I take a day or two off after 3-5 days on so that I'm not forced to take 4, 5, 6 or a week off.
Good Luck!0 -
Measure, measure, measure!! Sometimes the scale doesn't tell all... a lot of times your body isn't losing weight but it's losing inches! It's just another way to track0

No matter how unmotivated you feel on certain days, find something to motivate you and keep up with the exercise and diet plan.
I have tried and failed 3 other times at diet and exercise. I picked a source of motivation for this time and am sticking to it. It's hard somedays, but I keep going. I actually feel more satisfied when I work out when I am tired and don't really want to do it. I overcame the obstacle and usually work out harder those times too.0 -
great advice!
I get weighed and measured, I DO NOT and WILL NOT own a scale, I am being weighed and measured every 4 weeks. I find my worst time, is night time, I am a night time eater. I fight cravings literally from 7 pm until I go to bed. it sucks. LOL0 -

Nutritionist guru that explains the biophysiological responses of foods. I find the stuff amazingly interesting, but that's probably only for nerds like me. I had been looking all over for places that would help me learn about the impact of carbohydrates, protein, and fat on the cells, outside a nutrition class I mean, and Lyle was the guy.
He's has a blog that he posts on various topics related to nutrition and exercise at www.bodyrecomposition.com0 -
awesome! I will defintily check it out! I too think I would benefit from know why things happen, and what causes what to happen!0
