88kg and i was happy!

Hiya, well I'm useless! i had an heart attack back in Oct 2009. before the attack i look quiet good for my age (55) weight was about 88kg and i was happy!! I now go 107kg got a big fat gut which the doctor keeps moaning about and warns me to lose weight. but as much as i try i find it hard and very frustrating cause as much as i try i can't..... I'm not lazy or anything like that the problem is i "love" my food and exercise and diet come second! I really need help / advice.

    I think you could just start by eating all the same foods you love but in smaller portions and log everything here on MFP. You'll start thinking about what you are eating and you'll be losing weight (if you stay at your calorie goal). You can do it!
