great job sixers... lots of losses this week!
just had a yummy dinner. still about 400 calories shy of my target for today, w/o exercise... I was too busy to eat... so I am going to treat myself...
Chipper. I love the "no-log" tuesday concept... I think something like that would really help me... but I already do that (not on purpose) on the weekends... :grumble: ...
keep it up ladies.
im off to boston in the am... so i may not be checking in that much... .... i am going to try not to eat crap... and get in some exercise by walking at lunch... we'll see.0 -
Bump I have to get up at 4 am tomorrow to put in an hour of walking before I get ready for work. I'm hoping that 1 hour=4 miles. Then I will only have 4 more to do after work. Sheesh. :P
I wrote in an earlier thread (not sure when) that I'm training for a marathon! Not going to run it, I'm only going to walk it because I have knee issues when I run, and because my friend and I find that the time passes faster if we can chit-chat the whole time. I've done a half before, but June will be my first full marathon. I'm logging a lot of miles every day, that's for sure!0 -

Not really a loss, but not a gain, so I will take it. It was one heck of a rough week to begin with but I got my butt in gear in the end. If I can keep it going it should show up better next week. I hate these daggone hormones.
Julia - That's so cool about the marathon. I agree that time definitely goes faster when you have someone to share it with. My family and I are doing a 5k in October, which will be some walking/jogging. Just something to get us moving.
Cathy - I hope you had some yummy things yesterday. Now we are back on track for a successful week!

well hello week 3.... CAN I WEIGH MYSELF YET??? no.... 15th April and this is killing me!! although i think i may have lost a bit more weight!? not counting my chickens yet though! i dont think i'll get to the 141 but i do have a little while yet. i've laid off the exercise this week as i'm really busy at work and just have not found the time! but i'm going for a run tomorrow night and will do some dvds on friday. I went on a hen do last saturday and drank way way too much!! i was supposed to be running on sunday but was far too sick!!
so back off the booze!
tonight i'm having spag bolognasse for tea tonight. not massively slimming but i'm only having soup for lunch.

Morning!
Wow...just realized I never got back on here yesterday. Sorry. I was SUPER busy at work. Still like no exercise...VERY frustrating! Stupid toe. But it is getting much better. I'm hoping next week can be a new starting point for me. Think I'm going to go back to shredding...hoping my toe is good enough for the jumping! I've decided that I will give myself a reward once I hit the 155 mark since I've been aiming for it for a while now. I will get myself the new JM Ab workout which I've been wanting! Just a little incentive for me to work hard!!
WELL...plan today:

DH took the day off, no work to do. he gets paid for 1/2 day. which is better than working for nothing. but, now my whole day is thrown off. he follows me. i did go to the gym and get my c25k in. was an ok workout. have stuff to do, i know i will be back later.

It's been a busy week at work since we are short staff this week so I apologize for making this short and not doing any personals. I hit a minor but annoying plateau last week so I had a junk day on Sunday to try and get my body out of its rut and it thankfully worked. I lost a lb for my weigh in and lost another one this morning. It had been 2.5 months since I had any junk at all and I really enjoyed it and thankfully as well, didn't find it hard to get back into good eating after.

I'm so not weighing in this week... I am on spring break, so DH and I went to Knoxville, TN for the weekend to visit my sister. Wow, we ate A LOT... I don't even want to know what kind of damage I did, so I'm vowing not to step on the scale until next Tuesday morning. Although, we're headed down south again this weekend. My grandmother passed away last week, and the memorial service is Saturday in North Carolina. Headed down on Friday and coming back Sunday, then back to school Monday. Boo... It will be nice to see my dad's family though, I just wish it was better circumstances...

what a day it has been went to run my errands. DH in tow. doing some laundry what is that i hear "drip, drip, drip" now a leak in the laundry room. landlord is trying to figure out what to do. need a roofer is what he needs to do. DH went up in the attic and there were lots of little "drips" coming through the roof. not my problem. i will just put down my towels and buckets.
i am a little hungry today. made a wonderful pizza for lunch with the new flatout flatbread. was really good. DH laid down to lap, i did too, but, phone rang. he of course sleeps away, while i take of the roof. at least he's out of my hair.
going to go play a game.

Down 0.5lbs this week..I am extremely shocked as I have not been to the exercising much lately because of my toe (fortunately all better now though!) I've just been weight training and doing pilates. Butttt, slow and steady wins the race I'm getting back on the exercise wagon tomorrow!!! Off to the gym I go :laugh:0 -

todays plan is clean house. son going to goodwill for a job fair. he is looking for a better paying job. big companies suppose to be there. so while he's gone i am cleaning. roofer is suppose to be calling me to set up a time to come look at the roof. rain again today. i feel he needs to come while raining to see where the leaks are at. they always say they can't do anything in the rain. you will be in the attic. just my opinion.
going to go get dressed, so i can get started when he leaves, which should be soon.

I feel sick to my stomach today from a migraine and am wearing a hat and sunglasses at work because the lights are too bright. On the plus side I lost another .8 lbs since yesterday. Silver linings.

Beky - Great job on the loss. Take care of that toe.
AFM: Son was throwing up all night long so we are home today. Hubby took care of him for the most part and baby boy was a good sport. But the danger is that when I'm stuck in the house with sick kids, I end up overeating. So hopefully I can "overeat" on fruits, vegetables, and leftover salad.
My best friend and I are starting our new weekly challenge tomorrow. We are going to do "clean eating" for a week. The idea we are going by is that if can be left out of the refrigerator for 2 weeks and not go bad, then we aren't eating it. Just basically processed stuff. I think I'm still going to stay away from too much of the bread products as this is the first time in a long time that when I wake up in the morning my rings are not stuck on my fingers from the swelling and I actually have to take them off because they are moving TOO much. Nothing great on the scale necessarily for the week, but I'll take my non-scale victories. Had to cancel my doctor's appointment follow-up today, so no weight in. Maybe next week.

Good Morning Ladies....well I'll certainly take that 1.6 lb loss and be tickled pink with it....after the week at the lake I didn't know what to expect.....Oh Boy what it does to our moral to lose.......really makes you feel good.....Hope everybody is feeing good this morning....Hubby had his eyes checked and this morning we are going to get him fitted for some new glasses...then a few items at Wal Mart need to be picked up and then back home where I figure I'll do some house cleaning and laundry.........get it all done before the weekend so I can maybe go fishing if the weather is nice.......Hubby thinks I'm crazy for setting a certain time to get all my work done as when I use to work I had to do it all on the weekends.....now I can have the weekends free... Hey everyone!
Sorry I haven't been on here much. Been checking just not posting. Like everyone else, been really busy at work, so come home, cook dinner, help with homework, clean up and do laundry. Our big screen in the living rooms light bulb went out, so we have been laying around in our room at night, and of course you lay there and never get back up to get anything done.
This weekend is a really big weekend here in Charleston, SC. We have so many activities going on. We have a bridge run (10K), tennis tournament, Cajuan festival, and Azalea Festival. Might to one of them, the Azalea Festival. Neat arts and crafts stuff. Next weekend there is an air show going on. So, it is deffinately spring time here, just wish the weather would warm up.
