I have an iPhone and these are my favorite health and fitness apps:

- RunKeeper Pro
records runs, bike rides, hikes and walks and computes calories burned, route, pace, etc. Really really great, i couldn't recommend it enough. their website is amazing too. I've used a few apps like this, but this is definitely my favorite.

- True Weight (Light is free)
calculates a moving average of your weight so you don't get so hung up on daily flucctuations. also estimates your calorie deficit/overage. I really appreciate this app, especially when i'm retaining water and my weight spikes!

- Authentic Yoga
created by deepak chopra and tara stiles. seriously, tara stiles has my DREAM body. its a very good instructional app and has a few routines.

- LoseIt
similar to MFP, I used it last summer to lose 20 lbs. i now use it as an additional food and exercise library, but i usually find MFP to have a larger library.

What are all of your favorite health/fitness apps? I'm always looking for more!

Ab workout: its a five minute workout with different kinds of crunches that works your whole core
Nike Fitness: Sooo amazing! has ALOT of diffent circuit traning workouts. reminds me of 30 day shred. You can even set your music to it.
Passometer: its pretty much a pedometer. you enter your height and weight then it tells you how far you walked and how many calories you burned.
Those are what i use. Thanks for sharing yours! (:

I use almost the same exact ones.

Runkeeper Pro - I've been using it to track my runs for about a month now. It's awesome and easy to use.

LoseIt! - I don't use this as much anymore since I've been using MFP. In fact I barely use it at all now.

iFitness - I use this one to track my workouts. I create my routines there and just follow them. They have a pretty decent catalog of exercises plus the ability to add custom ones.

Couch to 5K - There are a bunch on the Appstore. The one I use is by Lucius Kwok and Kasten Searles.

I've just downloaded True Weight and input the previous weights and it's great that it shows monthly and weekly losses - helps put achievements into perspective. Thanks for this!
  • CardioTrainer is a great one and works in conjunction with Calorific for tracking food

I posted this a few months ago but as time goes by I know there are more and more apps are out there. Any suggestions?

CardioTrainer -- My favorite app EVER. I use it for keeping up with my distance/speed/calories for running. I also add my other workout calories because it displays the number of calories burned in the last 7 days all the time in the notification bar (where your signal/battery life shows up.) Nice reminder to see that every time I look at my phone. :)

Daily Ab Workout -- A free app with 5min. of abdominal workouts. Includes video and audio. LOVE IT. Hurts, but it's a good hurt.

Daily Butt Workout -- Same as the ab workout, but for your thighs/butt. This one's a lot of fun.

Daily Yoga -- I downloaded this, but I haven't squeezed it in yet. It looks fun, though.

    Decided to add...

Zombies, Run! -- It is a audio running game for the iPhone. There are 40 runs worth of material which is played between songs. You also have an option to include "zombie chases" which is good for interval training. Zombies will pop out of nowhere and you have to run 20% faster or you will lose all of the items you've picked up during your run/walk. Android version is supposed to be released in May or June.
