protein intake?

ok so I have gone over my recommended protein intake every day. i really don't feel like i'm eating too much though. will this hinder my weight loss if i eat more than mfp recommends?

    I also go over the protein rec. every day--I don't think it matters too much.

    The general rule of thumb is to eat the same amount of grams of protein per day as your target weight goal is.. so if your weight loss goal is 100 lbs, eat 100 grams of protein per day. That seems like a lot, but its better to eat more protein than more carbs! I am always way over my protein and way under my carb intake.

    I eat 140-170 grams per day have dropped 27 pounds in a lil over 3 months, so long as you are not exceeding 1 gram for your current weight you will be just fine.
