It may take a couple weeks to start reflecting on the scale, make sure you fuel your body for your workouts, look into eating back your exercise calories if you're not currently (closed food diary) eat what MFP gives you for a calorie goal, it's already got a built in loss for you at your chosen rate of weight loss.0

yes, and it also depends on your intake as well.0

They key to losing weight is to know what your body requires for calories each day, and then adjust that figure to lose weight. Exercise, while an excellent health benefit, can speed up your progress some, but it's what you put in your mouth that will give you the most bang for your buck.0

Using the Sauna to try and lose weight is a VERY BAD IDEA. The Sauna has many health benefits, such as increased muscle recovery time, but it is not a weight loss tool. You need to be replacing all of the water you lose in the sauna right after you get out of it, or you risk dehydrating yourself.0 -
hit my inbox up and i will give you a lot of useful tips and ask you some important questions to try and help you out0

Fresh, wholesome foods. Closer to the source the better. Avoid processed and fast food.... It is hard to say what it is at the gym that you should change if you aren't specific. So my biggest tip is that you MIX IT UP..... using the same machine 5 days a week eventually stops working. Try intense cardio on 3 different machines for 20 min each. Or do some interval training for cardio.... 1 min INTENSE and 1 min slow.... repeat till you think you might fall off! haha Also, maybe looking to some circuit training. It gets in strength AND cardio at the same time which can be very effective! Holler at me if you want some ideas :-D keep up the effort. Set a goal each night for the next day. One day at a time..... be proud of your accomplishments and push yourself out of your comfort zone.0

+1
Also, the idea for most people isn't really "to lose weight." It's to "become healthier." For a lot of people, losing weight is one of the aspects of that, but the actual number on the scale is no where near as important as being healthy. Decreasing the number on the scale by ridding your body of water doesn't make you healthier.0 -
You have lots of good advice here so far, and I'll add that unless I am sweating huge drops at the gym I don't feel like I am hitting the right intensity. I do go sometimes and lifting may not do it, and I know I am still getting a benefit from that, but if I am trying to do some cardio, I need to push it until the sweat comes pouring off.0

Hey girl:)
Gym doesn't works.. Yeah happened the same to me , It's because you can't lose weight ONLY doing exercise! You need to do A LOT of exercise if you want to lose weight just exercising! For example, mass calories start to burn after half past an hour running! Did you know that?
So, you need a GOOD diet plan that really works, and OF COURSE you need to stick to it ALWAYS!
My advice for a comple weightloss program? Well... now i'm fit , but two years ago i was very fat... I started to look for info on the net and then i found WWW.EASYWEIGHTLOSSPROGRAM.TK
I saw they had articles, recipes, tips to lose weight.. a lot of info! And i started to use it. Then , i decided to buy the program paying only half part of the price ( I shared it with a friend of mine) .
We were a bit skeptical about it but we bought it because we could always ask for our money back if it didn't worked, but we didn't need to ddo it , luckily! Now, i'm happy with my body:)
The system comes not only with a diet plan and tips to stick to it, it comes with exercise tables too and a lot of info about different kinds of food and how to combine it.
Hope you like my info!
Bye XOXO0
