Do you know what edamame is? It looks similar to a pea pod, but it's a soy bean. At my grocery store you can find it in the frozen veggies section. I boil water and then drop the bag of frozen pods in for about 5 minutes. It's the BEST snack. Lots of fiber and protein and low calories.

I was also going to just suggest edamame. - I love it.

Lately I have been buying this Quaker Wheat Bran. I had 1/2 cup to my oatmeal in the morning. 1/2 cup has 10g of fibre.

Oatmeal and yogurt, fresh fruit and veggies.

Lean protiens, Chicken, and Turkey, and Lean beef.
Spices, Cinnamon, is a good one to always have on hand.
    Honey is good too.
    EVOO, and Pam cooking spray.
Whole Wheat bread. Read the lable here, NOTHING THAT SAYS ENRICHED FLOUR IN YOUR DIET!
And they do that with bread all the time, the BIG letters say it is wheat breah, but the first ingreadeint is enriched flour, meaning they took all of the good stuff out and left you with the rest. :grumble:
Watch out for the words CORN SYRUP too.

Yes the V8 Fusion is great. Make sure you get the "Light". It's just as good with half the calories and half the sugar!

Rissotto or couscous are very tasty to add to a dinner.

I love feta cheese with rice and vegies. mmmmm
Organic bananas they are so much tastier.
If you get one of those packages of coleslaw mix and an asian dressing of your choice, add some pine nuts you have a great salad. Add some chicken too.

    Happy shopping.

    Clementine tangerines
    instant oatmeal packets
    90 cal granola bars
fresh veggies (carrots, celery, green peppers, lettuce, spinach, asparagus)
    lite bread
    eggs

(gee....sounds like I only eat breakfast!)

Laughing Cow Light Swiss Cheese - 35 calories per triangle, I like to eat it with an apple everyday.

Raw almonds are a great snack, I usually eat 12 of them everyday. And I keep some portioned out in my purse in baggies for an on-the-go snack.

While shopping for cheese for the occasional sandwich when I have to bring my lunch with me I found a swiss cheese at Costco that only has 55 calories per slice. It's called Finlandia. I'm not sure where else it might be, but that was the lowest calorie cheese I found.
